  Need advice: Intimacy with my wife almost non existint because she considers me an apostate

  just on of the perks of being an apostate who is married to a branwashed, blinded jw woman.

  you know, we have been married for ~27 years....most of which we had nothing to do with the piece of shite cult.

  up till the begining of 2014 was when i woke up.

  Well when I read you post, I though how does GTTM know what is going on in my marriage. Since I announced this is a cult and I do not want do any of the JW things, she move out of the bedroom and does not speak to me any more. Of course no sex. It has been over six months now.
  

  So where I am now, we are still living in the same house, but I signed a contract last week for a rental flat I move in 6 weeks, she does not know yet. Divorce is the option I am going for, there is no way I am going to have this cult have any influence on my life anymore. I have been seeing a therapist and certainly he is helping me a great deal to cope with this cult shit. I feel good about the decision, but there is stormy weather ahead of me.

  Whatever you do GTTM think of yourself and look after yourself, your wife and my wife has the "Man in the sky" to look after them and we know how much help we will give them.

  Stats of conventions in Mexico

  i just went to a convention in mazatlan, mexico.. i had wanted to do this for a very long time, it left me shaken a bit (because i had a confrontation of sorts with one jw who recognized me), but i got some stats that give some insight into the borg.

  it really is crumbling, even in the places where they have arguably had the best, wildest success in the world: mexico.. just so you can see how much they have success in mexico compared to the us or anywhere else:.

  This is a pretty horrendous story, it has the ring of truth, the citizenship bit about Canada is in the press. Whether this story is true or not the phrase "nothing to live for" epitomizes what a good many people are experiencing.

  My concern with the influx of these refugees (and I am fully in support of helping these unfortunate people) is that there are undoubtedly covert ISIS and Taliban fighters/terrorists infiltrating along with then. Down the road in maybe 3, 6, 12 or 24 months they will start their acts of terror here in Europe, and that is unfortunate.

  So what is the solution?

  Do you find it hard to be around active JW's now?

  i do - actually, it's become close to unbearable.. and herein lies the paradox: i tried to fade in the illusion that i might keep contact with family and friends still "in".

  was it worth it?

  because not only most of them shun me anyways, but i find it almost unbearable to be around them, especially when the cult chit chat kicks in: every cute animal video clip triggers endless comments about glimpses of the future paradise and how "god did it"; those greasy praises to the organization and the governing body; the dumb awe about every jw broadcast and those cheesy music videos; the endless drivel against other religions when one knows perfectly well that we're no better than them; the endless flow of "experiences" of field service or spectacular conversions into "the truth"; the relentless congregation gossip; and so on .... i ask myself: is this why i am fading for ...?

  I know how you feel, although I am not DA'd or DF'd all shun me even my own wife and we live in the same house but have separate bedrooms. Apart from my wife I have no contact with JWs for me they are all dead, I did none of them any harm.

  Was the fade worth it for me, no it was not I only faded to try and keep my family intact, but this cult has enormous power over my wife. The marriage is at an end. I hope things go well for you though.

  OSCE (The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe

  i have noticed that the jws are participating in meetings organized by the osce.

  they are registered or participate under the "european association of jehovah's christian witnesses".

  one point highlighted in this organization is tolerance.
